目前傳統的蔬菜栽培過程，由於農藥及化學肥料過度施用，致蔬菜污染較嚴重，因此消費者開始崇尚一些自然、健康且污染較少的蔬果，為了順應此一趨勢，部份生產者已逐漸採行有機栽培，除了滿足特定消費族群多元化之嗜好及需求，並可進一步達到農業永續經營的目的。
